I honestly have no idea Evelyn. If I remember correctly, in the book, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw come together to support Gryffindor over Slytherin but I didn’t think they’d group everyone together in the movie. Then again, it IS the movies we’re talking about :P

^ and note that the patil twins aren’t meant to be together but here they are. in the movies the twins are both in gryffindor (they both have the gryffindor emblem on their uniforms) but in the book one of them is actually a ravenclaw. i think they’re just doing that to make it less of a hassle to explain to the audience… its easier to say that their in the same house rather than being in two separate houses. if they put them in separate houses, it’d raise more questions and confusions (not that i think that anyone would find that confusing coz, by now, the majority of the audience has read the HP books).

so, to conclude, it’s just easier for cho to be a gryffindor so that the little details in the books that’s supposed to be in the movies doesn’t make the movie plot even more confusing.

I don’t think Cho’s in Gryffindor – she’s a token and recognised Ravenclaw. I think, like Amanda said, they amalgamated all the Gryffindor supporters in one place during the Quidditch game. Saves filming three different sections? XD

my nephew told me that maybe the reason why some details are change it’s because if they going to take whatever it says in the book….then it will not be really exciting….it’s just like you already know what’s gonna happen, what are they going to say, where will they go, what are they going to do etc…..
