Interview with XinJingBao

XinJingBao (below as XJB): This is your first time coming to China, first time coming to Beijing. Is it how you imagined it to be?
Katie: Before coming, I never thought too much about it. Thinking about China just makes me think of the Great Wall. Yesterday I went and the scenic view was amazing! I jogged for a while. The feeling was great!

XJB: I heard your schedule is very tight. You just arrived from Japan and tomorrow you're going to Hong Kong. This is your first time acting in a film and going to all different places to promote it. Do you think this is tiring or acting?
Katie: I think the filming was more tiring because at that time I had a lot of pressure. I always told myself to do my best and now I'm promoting for the film. Even though, it's tiring, but to me, I don't think it's a job. I really enjoy it.

XJB: I went to a HP site and looked at how they judged your performance. Almost everyone was pleased. I'm sure you're very happy.
Katie: Is that true?! I never had time to go online and look! This is the most happiest thing so far today. Actually during filming, I recieve a lot of fan letters and a lot are from China. They say that I look like how they picture Cho to be. I think their support made this role so successful to me.

XJB: But there are people complaining...you barely had any scenes.
Katie: I thought it was fine because in Ms. Rowling's book, Harry and Cho don't really have a lot of conversations. Even though, Harry has a crush on Cho, he had much more important things to take care off. Triwizard tournament, Voldemort but in the next one, we'll have more time together.

XJB: There's a rumor saying there was a kissing scene in this film. Was there a lot of scenes that were cut by the director?
Katie: There weren't any kissing scenes! If you read GOF, there wasn't any kissing scenes. But in the next one, there is which makes the whole story a bit more fascinating.

XJB: In GOF, we see Harry finally plucking up the courage to ask Cho Chang to the ball. He got turned down. If this all happened in real life, would you be like Cho? Saying no?
Katie: Harry is a very cute and handsome guy and very popular but Cho already said yes to someone else. She's not one of those girls that say yes to anyone just like me.

XJB: If you were to choose a boyfriend from GOF, who would you choose?
Katie: Let me think...Harry's too busy so he probably won't have time to be with his girlfriend. Ron is a very funny guy, being with him except for laughing the whole time there's nothing else. So I'll still choose Cedric. He's smart, handsome and mature.

XJB: We know that in the next film, there's a new director. After the filming of GOF, did you ask David Heyman if you can act in the fifth installment?
Katie: I never asked him about this but last week, David told me to get ready for the fifth film, it should start probably around February or March next year.

XJB: Congradulations! Having this notice, do you have any new preparations?
Katie: Yes, first of all, I'm planning to read over the fifth book again. Last time I read it was about a year ago, a lot of parts I forgot. And another thing I have to start us to start being a bit emotional. In GOF, Cho's a happy and fun girl but after her boyfriend got killed by Voldemort, her whole mood changes dramatically. In this next book, her parts are mostly all crying, to me, that's a big challenge. So when I'm bored, I think of some sad thought so I can quickly get into character.

XJB: At last, please ask the producer if maybe they can film the movie series in China.
Katie: I will, that would be really cool. If there was a Quidditch scene, flying over the Great Wall would be really really cool!
