In a recent DailyRecord article, Katie’s appearance in Poirot’s Cat Among the Pigeons episode has mentioned. It’s also written that the episode will air on ITV1 this month.

SCOTS Harry Potter star Katie Leung has landed a part in the ITV detective series Poirot.

She played the boy wizard’s girlfriend at Hogwart’s school in the blockbuster movies.

Now 21-year-old Leung, of Motherwell, will swap her Hogwart’s cloak for a school blazer for an episode called Cat Among the Pigeons.

The show is set to be screened later this month on ITV1.

“My character is a schoolgirl called Hsui Tai Wan” reveals Katie Leung, best known for her role as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films. “Working on this has been a lot different from Harry Potter and Hogwarts, where all the sets are specially designed. Here it’s an actual college and the set is smaller, so you get to know everyone individually”.

Apparently it is airing on 21st September on ITV at 9PM.

Anyway, sorry for the lack of updates – been a bit busy with school, the pain. Anyway, onwards with the HBP news! Firstly, the Half Blood Prince teaser trailer has debuted, with footage of Harry, Dumbledore, young Tom Riddle, Ron and Ginny – it’s quite an exhilirating trailer, really. You can view it in glorious HD here.

Also, as the HBP promotion begins, we have set reports from all our favourite Potter sites who were lucky enough to visit the set! There’s a report from SnitchSeeker, HPANA and Mugglenet. At the moment they are limited, but each promises to release interviews and full coverage around November, when the movie’s full promotion will hit us head on.

I have gotten your emails and comments, and I am looking into the comments and the forum (once again). Meanwhile, the WB confirmed teaser trailer for Half Blood Prince will be released August 1st, 2008, attached to The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, the third of the ‘Mummy’ movies.

Similarly, we have a confirmed report regarding the 15-second trailer that is attached to IMAX screenings of The Dark Knight:

A black screen with Dumbledore saying “Once again I must ask you to do the impossible, Harry.” After that, the title is displayed as well as the release date.

Thanks to a tip from Snitch Seeker, IMAX.com has confirmed that there is a 15-second Half Blood Prince trailer attached to the Dark Knight, which is set to be released in the U.S on the 18th of July.

There will be a SHORT, 15 second trailer for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince prior to The Dark Knight.
